超大型台風Bopha,　２４号台風の被害状況が明らかになり、トリビオン大統領は１２月４日いよいよ国家非常事態を発令。被害額はUS5mドルになる。

　幸いにして死者やけが人は出なかったものの、家を失った人々など被害は大きい。食料と医療の支援も急務である。

　パラオ最大の島、Babeldoabの東沿岸沿いの被害が一番ひどく、南に位置するアンガウル、ペリリュー島も被害が大きい。

　米海軍、USAIDが既に物資援助を開始している。
