Fund for supporting the victims of the Earthquake that hit the Northeastern region of Japan [2011年03月12日(Sat)]
"Fund for supporting the victims of the Earthquake that hit the
Northeastern region of Japan" Our hearts go out to all those who have been affected by this massive earthquake and we send our deepest condolences for all those who have lost their lives. This was the most powerful earthquake in Japan since records began. News of the devastating disaster is being reported by the minute. As it was in the Hanshin Awaji Earthquake, it will take a bit longer until we are able to grasp the actual extent and seriousness of the damage. We the CANPAN project believe that financial aid for recovery efforts will become one of the most needed support for the affected areas. From our bitter experience in the Hanshin Awaji earthquake, we have learned that the government cannot provide financial aid when it is most critical. This is why we have set up a “Disaster emergency relief fund which is supported by the people for the people”. In addition, we will be transmitting information which has been collected from all those in the CANPAN network who are currently working in the affected areas. Donations are now being accepted by credit card at 2000 yen per share. All donations will go to the victims of the earthquake. Please reach out and give a helping hand to those in need. Click here to make a donation!!! Every effort counts!!! *Each donation that is received will be mentioned on The Nippon Foundation CANPAN Project Official Website.
