先週、ウェンさんとオンラインで話をしました。
「カンボジアでも障害のある人が車いすで自由に移動したり、
介助者を使えるようにしたい！」と将来の目標を語ってくれました。

21期生のヒヨウさんの活動が
ネットニュースに取り上げられました！

障害者が外に出てみんなと同じように
日常生活を送ることができるよう、
様々な活動を続けているヒヨウさん。
アクセシビリティの改善に向けての活動や、脳性まひの方を集めた団体の運営は
ダスキンの研修を終えて、帰国後から始めた活動です。

車いすでのベトナムにおける日常を映したSNSは
多くの反響を呼んでいます。

The activities of Hieu, a trainee of the 21st
was featured on the internet news!

She runs a support group for around 50 people with cerebral palsy, which aims to encourage them to go out often.

Activities to improve accessibility and management of the organization, she started after completing her training at Duskin.

ダスキンの卒業生、ウェンさん（8期生：フィリピン）から近況報告が届きました
Mobility International USA (MIUSA)による、
国際女性研究所リーダーシップ・障害者交流プログラム
（Women's Institute on Leadership and Disability (WILD)）に参加したそうです。

お元気ですか。私は仕事（歯科医院の仕事に復帰）でへとへとです。
フリーランスでフィリピノ手話を教えながら、公立ろう学校の生徒の相談にも乗り、
正社員ではなく、シフト勤務をしています。
パンデミック下で、家族が生き残れるようにサポートしているのです。

6月20日、私はアメリカのオレゴン州ユージーンに到着し、16日間滞在しました。
MIUSAのプログラムを経験し、現在WILDの10期生です。
過去に日本で企画書の書き方を学びましたが、詳しくはなかった私は企画書についても学びました。

今私は、今年WILDプログラムをフィリピンで共有するための準備をしています。
また、ギャローデット-日本、世界聴覚障害者リーダーシップ（WDL）奨学基金に
応募し続けています。昨年は落ちてしまいましたが、再度応募しました。
大学のためのMIUSAからのフェローシップも求めています。
私は決してあきらめません。
長い間母に時間を費やしてきたので、自分が望むものを勉強することに決めました。

NPO法人自立生活夢宙センター（https://www.npo-muchu.com/）に3週間、NPO法人ゆに（https://www.unikyoto.com/）に数日間伺って、研修を行いました。
ゾーさんは、自立生活はもちろんのこと、視覚障害、聴覚障害の支援方法にも興味を持っていて、来日前からオンデマンドの手話学習教材を使って日本手話を勉強し、来日後も、手話研修にも参加しました。また、聴覚障害者や視覚障害者への情報保障の方法や障害者全般の就労支援についても高い関心を持って研修に励んでいます。
夢宙センターでは、大勢の仲間たちに囲まれて歓迎を受けました。また、野球観戦にも連れて行ってもらいました。平日も週末も大忙しのゾーさんです
Zo visited the NPO Muchyu Centre for Independent Living (https://www.npo-muchu.com/) for three weeks and NPO Yuni (https://www.unikyoto.com/) for a few days for training.
Zo was interested in independent living as well as support methods for the visually and hearing impaired, and studied Japanese Sign Language using on-demand sign language learning materials before coming to Japan. She is also highly interested in training on how to guarantee information to people with hearing and visual impairments and on employment support for people with disabilities.
At Muchyu Centre, she was welcomed by a large group of friends. She was also taken to a baseball game. Zo is very busy both on weekdays and weekends.

日本ライトハウス（http://www.lighthouse.or.jp/）に3週間、NPO法人ゆに（https://www.unikyoto.com/）に2週間ほど、研修でお世話になりました。
盲学校を訪問し、障害教育について学びました。また、盲導犬についても学び、盲導犬（ジョア）との歩行も体験しました。
Jasmin spent three weeks at the Japan Light House (http://www.lighthouse.or.jp/) and two weeks at NPO Yuni (https://www.unikyoto.com/) for training.
She visited a school for the blind and learned about disability education. She also learned about guide dogs and experienced walking with a guide dog (Joa).



お盆休みには、お世話になった竹下さんのお宅でのホームステイ♪
織物体験や陶芸体験もしました。とても優しいご夫妻で、楽しい時間を過ごしました。
ゆにでは、日本とフィリピンの障がい者支援や雇用状況についての意見交換をおこなったそうです。
Homestay at the home of Mr. & Ms. Takeshita, who took care of her during the Obon holidays（Summer holidays）.
She also experienced weaving and pottery making. They are a very kind couple, and she had a great time.
At Yuni, she exchanged opinions on the support and employment situation of persons with disabilities in Japan and the Philippines.

埼玉県聴覚障害者協会（http://sai-deaf.org/）に2週間ほどお世話になりました。
母国スリランカのろう協で活動をしているカヴィンダさんは、色々な課題意識を持って、研修に臨んでいるはず。
埼聴協で伺った色々なお話を是非今後の活動に活かしていって欲しいです。
Kavinda has been working with the Saitama Deaf Association (http://sai-deaf.org/) for two weeks.
Kavinda, who is active in the Deaf Association in her home country of Sri Lanka, must be going through the training with an awareness of various issues.
We hope that he will make use of the various stories he heard at the Saitama Association of the Deaf in his future activities.



休みの日には、ろうの友人と鉄道博物館に行ったそうです。
On his day off, he went to the Railway Museum with a Deaf friend.

NPO法人ヒューマンケア協会（http://www.humancare1986.jp/index.html）に1か月、AJU自立の家（https://www.aju-cil.com/）に2週間ほど研修に行って来ました。
ウェンさんだけではないのですが、どの研修生も日本語や日本手話による自己紹介やスピーチをする機会があります。ウェンさんもヒューマンケア協会での発表の準備、練習を重ねて臨みました。
Wen went to the NPO Human Care Association (http://www.humancare1986.jp/index.html) for a month and to the AJU House of Independence (https://www.aju-cil.com/) for two weeks for training.
Wen is not the only one, but all trainees have the opportunity to introduce themselves and make a speech in Japanese or Japanese Sign Language. Wen also prepared and practiced her presentation at the Human Care Association.




また、AJUでは、自立生活を勝ち取るまでの歴史や運動を学んだり、車椅子センターの見学などをしました。
At the AJU, he also learned about the history and movement of independent living and visited the wheelchair center.

デフNetworkかごしま（https://www.deaf-net.org/）に1か月ほど研修に行って来ました。
就労支援事業「ぶどうの木」では、縫製作業を体験し、「薩摩ワッフル」では、ワッフルづくりを体験しました。また、放課後等デイサービス事業「デフキッズ」での子どもたちの活動支援を通して、指導方法や活動内容の工夫などを学びました。

Wai went to Deaf-Network Kagoshima (https://www.deaf-net.org/) for a month for training.
At the employment support business 'Grape Tree', Wai experienced sewing work, and at 'Satsuma Waffle' Wai experienced waffle making. In addition, through supporting children's activities at the after-school day service business 'Deaf Kids', they learnt about teaching methods and how to devise the content of activities.




お休みの日には、鹿児島観光にも連れて行ってもらい、鹿児島の自然を満喫したようです。
On their day off, they were also taken on sightseeing around Kagoshima and enjoyed the nature of Kagoshima.

7月上旬から11月半ばまで、5か月半の間、ダスキン22期の研修生たちは個別研修として、各地で奮闘中です。

今日は、手話の澤田先生が、鹿児島から福島への出張途中、リハ協にお立ち寄りくださいました。
コロナ禍で来日が保留になった2年弱の間、オンラインでの日本手話研修でお世話になった澤田先生ですが、実際にお会いするのは「初めまして」の研修生一同。
昼休みの短い時間での歓談となりましたが、楽しいひと時を過ごさせていただきました。

Today, Sawada-sensei, a sign language teacher, stopped by the JSRPD on her way from Kagoshima to Fukushima on a business trip.
Sawada-sensei, who has been helping us with online Japanese sign language training for about two years when our trainee visit to Japan was put on hold due to the Corona disaster.
It was a "nice to meet you" for trainees in person.
They had a pleasant chat during the short lunch break.
