On 23 January, at the request of the government, eight survivors of the atomic bombings and one second-generation survivor embarked on a trip that will take them around the world as “Special Communicators for a World without Nuclear Weapons” speaking about their [A-bomb] experiences.

＜目的：PURPOSES＞
◎各国，国際機関，研究機関及びNGOを含む市民社会等の参加を得て，「被爆の実相の伝達」を中心に，軍縮・不拡散教育の重要性の認識共有や連携の促進，さらなる取組の発展に資すること。
Sharing the recognition of the importance of disarmament and non-proliferation education among states, organizations, research institutions and civil society (including NGOs) . Strengthening cooperation among relevant actors in promoting disarmament and non-proliferation education.
